Innovations are key in golf. The Approach G6 GPS handheld showcases innovative functionality to match its modern look and durable, slim design. With an internal rechargeable battery, it plays an entire weekend on a single charge, and comes preloaded with over 25,000 worldwide courses - no subscriptions required.
Approach G6 helps get on the green with Green View, a feature that allows you tap to zoom and drag the flag to position it where you see it for more accurate yardage. The colorful layup arcs at 100, 150, 200 and (when applicable) 250 yards let you know exactly how far you need to hit.
The G6 is perfectly sized for better playability with a sleek, slim design yet still glove-friendly and waterproof. The touchscreen is easy to view in the sunlight and the backlight is adjustable for further convenience.
You can track your golf shot statistics with the enhanced software feature during the round, and then after the game at home by downloading to your computer. will this unit allow me to take a cart and mark different points, like the flags on the range for instance? if not will any other unit do this?

The Garmin G6 Golf GPS will track the distance of your last shot on the course. For what we think you want, however, your best bet is a rangefinder that will shoot any target via laser and give you the yardage. Thus you could laser the flags at your range and know the distance to each.
