Looking for a relaxed, laid back vacation? A real barefoot experience? Longing for soft sand between your toes while you bask in the warm Mexican sun? Akumal Beach Resort is simplistic but comfortable, with a beautiful white expanse of beach along gentle Caribbean waters sheltered by an offshore reef. A hideaway in harmony with nature, this resort is nestled along the magnificent coastline of the Riviera Maya, a place where sunsets can be relished while in your bathing suit at the beach bar. Enjoy two restaurants plus a main self-serve dining room, an oceanfront pool, and palapas on the beach. A perfect seaside vacation for the family.
The All-Inclusive Akumal Beach is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, with 73 ocean and garden view rooms housed within 1-2 story buildings, and 168 oceanfront rooms in 3-story buildings. Each air-conditioned room has a balcony or patio.
Hotel does not accept Spring Breakers. La Langosta Borracha is not included in the All-Inclusive Plan. Men are required to wear pants for dinner dining all A La carte restaurants.
Location: This resort is located in the Akumal Bay area at the south end of the Riviera Maya, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes driving time from the airport. It`s only a few minutes away from Puerto AventuraGolf Club and Xel-Ha, and 35 Km from Playa del Carmen. Akumal Beach Resort is located directly on a 1 Km stretch of white sandy beach protected by a coral reef. For your comfort and convenience, there are chair lounges and towel service.
Activities: Dance Lessons, Horseback Riding ($), Volleyball and some activities are hosted by the staff along the pool and beach. Nightly entertainment with local talent and staff shows.

Italian Restaurant
An a la carte dinner restaurant serving Italian cuisine from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
La Langosta Borracha
Serves lobster, filet and 40 different types of wine. This restaurant is not included in the All-Inclusive Progam.
Main Restaurant
The main restaurant serves a full breakfast (6:45 am to 10:00 am), lunch (12:00 noon to 2;30 pm) and dinner (6:30 pm to 9:30 pm)
Mexican Beach House
An a la carte Mexican restaurant serving dinner from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Children's Program: Kids Stay, Play, and Eat Free during applicable dates, check with your reservations agent for details. There is a supervised Kids Club available from 9:30am to 12:00 noon & 3:00pm-5:00pm activities such as Arts & Crafts, Sand Castle Contests, etc.
