Required documents to get married in the Dominican Republic:
· Passport or valid travel document, used to enter the country
· Birth certificate
· Single status certificate
All documents and certificates have to be translated by an official interpreter into Spanish and legalized by the Dominican Embassy. This should be done before arrival to Punta Cana and presented upon arrival. After the wedding, the Dominican wedding certificate will be sent. The wedding has to be legalized by the couple in the hometown of the couple. |
