Prospect Reef Resort is a complete resort village located on a 44-acre oceanfront estate. The resort boasts 137 rooms and suites, a sea pool, a junior Olympic-sized freshwater pool, a marina, a full European style Spa and a conference center. In addition, the resort owns two beaches, one on Peter Island and the other on Jost Van Dyke Island. The culinary delights of the resort can be sampled at the on-property restaurants.
Arrival / Departure
The official arrival time is 3:00 pm, but the resort will be pleased to accommodate early arrivals after rooms have been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
Guest rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am. If you require a later check-out , the Front Desk attendants will do their best to arrange it. To ensure that everyone stays with the system, a late check-out without prior arrangement will be considered an extra room night and charged accordingly.

Banquets / Catering
The resort will gladly arrange private parties and receptions with a personal touch for groups of any size. Advance notice is appreciated.
To take along on day trips and sightseeing excursions are available from Room Service. Please place your orders at least 12 hours in advance.
Your guest room telephone is equipped with a data port jack for use with a personal computer. Phone charges will be billed to your hotel account. Or you may rent computer time (PC) at the Business Centre.
This is the place to sign out Ė and return Ė games, sports equipment, and beach towels, and make reservations for day trips and excursions. Bottled water, fruit juice, soft drinks, and beer may be purchased at Mini-Bar prices and charged to your room account.

In the British Virgin Islands, currency is the U.S. dollar. The Front Desk will help with foreign exchange whenever possible. And the banks in Road Town, open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, are within walking distance of the resort.
Prospect Reef Resort has an informal dress code day and night. However, casually elegant attire is required when dining at the Callaloo Restaurant after 6:00 pm.
Dress code in town is casual, but shirts are required in the banks and other offices.
Runs regularly between Tortola and Virgin Gorda, St. Thomas (Red Hook and downtown Charlotte Amalie) and St. John, USVI.
Attendants are on duty to assist you from 6:00 am until midnight daily.
For those who have more of an affinity for land sports rather than water sports, Prospect Reef Resort offers the land sport enthusiast a chance to play tennis at the resorts six courts, hiking on Sage Mountain or horseback riding tours around Tortola.
If working out is what you are looking for, this resort offers gym and aerobic classes where guests can exercise their worries away in Prospect Reefís Nautilus fitness center. Guests have a choice of supervised personal training and nutrition program with Prospect Reef Resortís gym director or they can just participate in the daily offering of aerobics classes or simply work out in the fully equipped gym with Nautilus equipment, stair masters, treadmills, stationary bikes, and aerobics classes.
Also, take the time to relax at the resortís jacuzzi with a panoramic view of Tortola or make an appointment to pamper yourself with body wraps, a variety of massages or facials at Prospect Reefís European style thalassotherapy spa. Treatments at the spa include one or five-day Cure programs or a selection of a la carte offerings including body wraps, massages, facials, reflexology and body analysis.
So, whether itís swimming underwater, touring the island, or basking in the sun, there is something for everyone to do and see in and around Prospect Reef Resort.

Laundry and Dry Cleaning
Laundry bags and slips have been placed in every room. Please leave garments, in a bag with a completed slip, at the Front Desk by 9:00 am from Monday through Friday for same-day service. Garments returned to the resort after 7:00 pm will be held at the Front Desk until the following morning. Contact the Front Desk to request delivery during the evening hours.
Massage and Spa Services
Available at the oceanfront European Spa located right next to the sea pool. Please visit the spa and ask for the spa director who will make you feel brand-new!

Can be arranged for groups from 12 to 200. Please contact the Front Desk.
Is available free of charge to hotel guests, Club members and restaurant patrons. The hotel, however, cannot assume responsibility for damages to vehicles or the loss of items left in them.

Just 15 minutes by boat at Buttonwood Bay, Peter Island is the home to our Beach Club where you, our guests can bask in the warm rays of the Caribbean sun on a beautiful white sand beach cooled by soft breezes for a perfect day excursion.
With all of the water sports you could desire at your finger tips, including snorkeling, kayaking, water bikes and sailing your visit to Peter Island can be as active as you wish it to be or just a peaceful day on the beach lounging by the ocean with a refreshing beverage or two or relaxing in a hammock under the swaying palm trees which line the beach.

Spacious layouts, each with private balcony or patio, provide festive island feeling to your stay on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. Light and airy decor, decorated in vibrant Caribbean colors with traditional gingerbread wood work. All rooms feature ceiling fans, and/or air-conditioning. All rooms and suites are equipped with Satelite TV, clock radio, direct-dial telephone with voice mail, personal safe, coffee maker, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board. Maid service daily.
Shopping is great at the Resort boutiques, and there is more at the outdoor market and stores (some of which carry duty free items) in Road Town. "Power shoppers" enjoy the outstanding array of duty free merchandise on St. Thomas, weekly trips are scheduled and so please contact the concierge or (an easy day trip via high-speed ferry from a dock within walking distance of the Resort.) Though a standard 15% service charge will automatically be added to food and beverage checks, billed to your room account and distributed evenly to the service staff, personal recognition for extra effort is always appreciated.
