Grand Papagayo features a Mediterranean style of architecture with arches and balconi overlooking the ocean. Twelve groups of buildings are spaced along a hillside, with 112 air- conditioned rooms, each with a balcony or terrace.
Property features include three restaurants, two bars, two swimming pools (one of which is for children), and a selection of watersports. The resort grounds run along a large curved beach with golden sand, 1/2 mile long.
